History of S.P.O.T.
Before The Senior Public-Service and Order Training (S.P.O.T.) had been formally recognized as an Organization–It started off as a Citizenship Advancement Training (C.A.T.) Alumni Group for old CAT Officers that came from the North and South Campus during 2023-2024. They had an unofficial volunteer group where-in it consisted of 14 old CAT Officers whom served the school during flag assemblies and any formal events requiring Color Guards. They started their recruitment for new “officers” or as they called it, “Marshalls” during early 2024. They were under the care of Ms. Mary Jennifer Campos and 2 weeks after being formally recognized by the School, The CAT Alumni Group had been dissolved.
During the new school year of 2024-2025, 5 out of 14 CAT officers stayed. Inquiring on the process of making a club, They made the Senior Public Service and Safety Unity (S.P.S.S.U.) and on August 9, 2024 during the Club Fair, They started recruiting former CAT Officers from batch 2023-2024. They successfully had 14 new Grade 11 Officers during their first duty for the North and South Campus Tour. After their Duty, A meeting was conducted to see which officers would continue to serve the school and in the end, Only 11 continued. During the Training for the Grade 11, 4 additional officers joined in.
On September 12, 2024—A meeting was conducted with Sir Neo and a potential Adviser who would look over the Club. At this meeting, a new name for the club was discussed and the calendar of future activities was presented. The final verdict of the meeting—The club renewed its name to the Senior Public-Service and Order Training.
